This work actually has quite a story behind it.

It’s a “remake” of an illustration i made back when i was studying in Italy (as an ERASMUS student). I had to create a book based on a fable or a poem. The one i took was “Le cerf se voyant dans l’eau” by Jean de la Fontaine. A fable about a deer looking at himself in the water, thinking his horns were majestic, while his legs were horrific. The story ends with a lesson : that we often have a disdain for what is useful while praising what is useless.
